Happy long weekend!!

{If you don’t get a long weekend, don’t feel too bad, I’ll be working on Monday too!}. Anywho … a Saturday Instagram post was nonexistent last weekend, and I’m sure you all missed it terribly bad, ha. So not this week!

Week in the lens of Instagram: Nebraska edition

Hi everyone! Hope your week has treated you well.

We’re currently in Nebraska for the weekend visiting my family. I’ve been mostly excited to see my nephew! He was born in December, and he’s done a lot of growing since then.

Thus, this week’s Instagram post is formed:

{Much of the 7 hour drive we listened to Johnny Cash via Spotify and Erik sung his lungs out. Each. and. every. song. It was impressive}

{The highlight of our drive was going by a never ending field of wind mills. They are so huge}

{And then we got to hang out with Walker!}

Tomorrow I get to go through my sister’s closet, just like old times, ha!

In Other News

In other news, a big change is coming to Lesley Lifting Life soon, and very soon! I’m really excited for it, so expect something new!

Week in the lens of Instragram: Farm Aid Edition

Happy Weekend!

It’s been a busy end of week, hence the lack of my normal blogging schedule. I accidentally overbooked myself with work at the end of this weekend so I’m having to work some this Saturday and Sunday in my spare time.

Last night we went to a Farm Aid kickoff party. Since I don’t have time, due to work, to recap it this morning, here’s a quick Instagram version of our night … a complete version with real photos will be coming soon!

We also have a couch surfer from Australia staying with us this weekend who is also going to Farm Aid! Here we are taking a cheesy picture with “veggie Willie”

After checking out the kickoff party we took our couch surfer (who is also vegan) to FUD for dinner, and showed her around Kansas City a little bit.
