Hi!
First off, Erik and I got to lift together tonight for the first time in a really long time … hooray!!! : ) I missed my lifting partner.
Now for the long awaited only-a-day awaited unveiling of my packages. First off, from my mom.
She picked me up some fun things from my aunt’s store Close to Home in Le Mars, Iowa.
Homemade clothes soap and body soap (above), a small WoodWick candle (I love those!!) and some Hazelnut Creme home mist (below).
I’m excited to use the soap, especially the clothes soap. (My thoughts on it will follow later ; )
She also included a lovely Fall wreath that’s from my grandma that fits perfectly on my door and makes it officially feel like Fall. Thanks Mom and Grandma : )
Next up, I had a surprise package at my door from Stevia In the Raw. I recently did a review on their product and after trying it decided to switch from Truvia to Stevia in the Raw because of these reasons. (But in summary, it tastes better and it’s cheaper!)
Included in this package was a box of Stevia in the Raw and a bunch of sampler packs with coupons so I can share the wealth!
Sooo of course I’d love to share the wealth with all of you!
If you aren’t sure what natural sweetener to use or if you’re looking for a Stevia sweetener that doesn’t taste bitter look no further. Erik and I were both very impressed with this sweetener. (Ha, and, no, I’m not even getting paid to say this, it’s just true -- but getting paid would be nice too! lol)
Now for giveaway time!!! 5 lucky winners will win 5 sample packs each. Included in these sample packs are 2 Stevia packets and a $.40 off coupon (see above) so you can try your own box.
To enter: leave a comment telling me what you currently use as a sweetener (or about anything else).
And like always you can earn extra entries by tweeting about this giveaway and linking it to your own blog. (Just let me know if you did those things in separate comments, if you could ;)
This will be open for one week, so until Tuesday, October 6th. Good luck and happy sweetening!!
-Lesley
-note to anyone who lives near me or I know in “real life”… as you can see by the box above, i’ll still have samples left so if you want to try some just let me know and i’ll hook you up!
Yay for getting all those goodies!
ReplyDeleteCurrent sweetener: Sweet Leaf liquid stevia. I have just the crystals/packets too, but I think the liquid tastes a lot better! :)
I love that fall wreath its so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteCurrently I use Sweet Leaf ( I think, its like a stevia knock off?) I havent ever tried the liquids or anything like that and would love to sample something new!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
i actually use cinnamon as sweetner!!! =)
ReplyDeleteor fruits!
shoot me, I use splenda. I found stevia products to be too bitter (maybe I used too much?)
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to try Stevia, but it is so expensive! I'm pretty boring; usually, I use honey or regular sugar.
ReplyDeleteI currently use raw honey or agave for sweeteners. I'd love to try the stevia, please!! :)
ReplyDeleteI currently use Truvia because it seems to be the least expensive and I usually have coupons. I have had Stevia but never in the Raw and would LOVE to try it!
ReplyDeleteThanks girly!
Oh fun! I use Purevia, but only because it was the last sweetener on sale at the local Kroger :) I do really like it though, a lot.
ReplyDeleteI also LOVE the Woodwick candles! Nick buys me one every Christmas and they never get old. They are awesome.
I will follow you on Twitter and post about this too!
Hi chica! Such fun packages- my MIL swears by those candles! I would love to try this sweetner!
ReplyDeleteI'm using Tj's stevia right now, but i'd love to try that one! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Woodwick candles! The sound just puts me to sleep. :-)
ReplyDeleteI use agave mostly - but I'd love to try stevia!!
I love all the natural products. What a lovely idea for a gift baskest for someone special.
ReplyDeleteMy sweetner is equate. That's my favorite.
I'm bad but I use one sweet n low sometimes when out at a restaurant. Other than that I stick with honey for my tea. I linked back to your giveaway from my blog too.
ReplyDeleteI feel like stevia is great but I haven't found the right brand yet. all the more reason to try stevia in the raw!
ReplyDeleteLove the old fashioned soaps. There's something so much better about Mom&Pop brands!
You're so kind to share the stevia joy with all of us! I love stevia, and I use it in everything from baking to my tea every morning... :-) I haven't tried the stevia in the raw brand yet, though - thank you for telling me about it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing about the clothes soap! I've never used bar soap for clothes before - so cool!
