Hey, hey!
Summer is definitely here in our part of Missouri! It’s hot, but thus far, I’m loving it : ) I’m much more of a summer girl than winter!
I’m also glad that our TV shows (Lost, Biggest Loser, and American Idol primarily) are over!! Ha, I told Erik that we are NOT going to get sucked into another series (at least for awhile). But not gonna lie, ‘Losing it with Jillian Michaels’ intrigues me and I’ll have to at least check it out.
Moving right along … I got my latest issue of Clean Eating the other day and it’s inspired me to actually cook, ha. I’ve been bad at that lately … let’s just say George Foreman has been our very best friend, and Newman’s Own/Amy’s pizzas have been consumed way too frequently. Some recent eats:
Sautéed onions, minced garlic, zucchini & bell peppers, with sliced steak (eaten with red potatoes) Mini meat loaves (lean beef, sautéed onions, minced garlic, pepper jack cheese, eggs, sea salt, ketchup) with curried rice and freshly steamed fresh veggies.
Speaking of fresh veggies … I’ve decided that it’s really hard to beat fresh steamed veggies … even with absolutely no seasoning, they are amazing!
What’s your all-time favorite way to eat veggies??We also recently tried a new agave nectar (Ohgave!) and I must say, I’m loving it!
Ohgave blue agave nectar + almond butter = YUM!
: : NuNaturals Giveaway : :
I’m sure you guys remember me talking about NuNaturals several times here on Lesley Lifting Life … I’m definitely a fan of their stevia products! The kind folks from NuNaturals asked if I’d like to host a giveaway and of course I excitedly obliged! : )
They are offering not one, but four (4) readers one (1) box of our NuNaturals White Stevia Powder, 50 ct. packets, PLUS one (1) bottle of our Vanilla Stevia Liquid, 2 oz. And just for the record, their Vanilla Stevia Liquid is amazing in oats!!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that the Newman's pizzas are good. They were on sale for $5 at Giant last night so I bought a spinach one. :) I'm usually a huge fan of all their products because they taste great and contribute to charities.

Oh my! Please delete those extra comments if you can. My computer didn't seem like it was responding when I tried to submit my comment, but apparently it was. I'm not trying to be obnoxious and win the stevia that way, lol.
